Power Definitions
Prime Power
In corporate to the prime rated power (PRP/DCP) of GB/T 2820 and ISO 8528, and refers to the maximum power available at the variable load series, without time limits in one year's running hours up to 250h and for every 12h running hours, it can be 10% overloaded for 1h for maintenance; overload power operation shall not be more than 25h in one year; the average output power within 24 h shall not be higher than 70% of the prime power.
Standby Power
In corporate to the standby power (ESP) of GB/T 2820 and ISO 8528, and refers to the maximum power available at a certain variable load series in the event of a utility power outage or under test conditions for an annual running hours up to 200h, of which the maximum running time shall be 50h per year. No overload is permitted by Yuchai. The allowed average output power within 24 h shall not be higher than 70% of the standby power.
Data Centre Power
It corresponds to the data center power (DCP) of GB/T 2820 and ISO 8528,and refers to the maximum power that the engine can provide for variable or continuous electrical loads under conditions of unlimited operating time, with the maintenance intervals and procedures being carried out as prescribed by FOGO. The generator unit is only applicable to the backup power supply of the data center. Prolonged operation at load in parallel with a utility is not permitted.
WARRANTY TERMS
GLOBAL COVERAGE
FOGO engines are secured by an international warranty: 4 years for Emergency Power Supply (EPS) and 2 years for Prime Rated Power (PRP). This is supported by our integrated service ecosystem featuring a digital parts platform and mobile workshops. For Data Center Power (DCP) clients, we guarantee parts availability for over 10 years or 50,000 operating hours.
